Is anyone else reminded of a 70s poncho?
Two days and ten inches later:

I'm not really sure how to measure my progress in terms of finishing on time. I've knit up two balls of the brown, and most of a turquoise one, so by that rate I'm fine. I just suspect that it's going to get harder from here on out (the more I think about all the ends!) with the sleeves and my recent laddering problems using dpns.
But for now, I'm on track. Doesn't hurt that I'd rather be knitting with a cup of coffee than going to class either- but I'm still going, I swear. And I will be weaving in ends tonight at stitch and bitch, so I might actually make it to the finish line. Shocking, I know.
